VCHO Bad Decisions Release Party

9910 is proud to present...

BAD DECISIONS is a collection of recycled beats that were created during a impulsive chapter of my life. Listening to them again transported me straight back to that era—late nights and reckless choices. Rather than leaving those moments behind, I chose to channel them into an album built for the dance floor. The result is a heavy, energetic blend of electro-inspired rhythms, driving basslines, and hypnotic grooves designed to keep bodies moving. BAD DECISIONS embraces both nostalgia and momentum, capturing the feeling of losing yourself in music while remaining fully present in movement.

Born and raised in Valparaíso, Chile, a city known for dance floors pulsing until sunrise, VCHO draws inspiration from the deep connection among rhythm, movement, and community. Since beginning his production journey in 2013, he has focused on creating immersive musical experiences that blur the line between performer and audience.

Following the releases of Endless Days (2024) and Living Room After Party (2025), BAD DECISIONS marks VCHO's latest EDM chapter—a collection of dance floor moments that stay with you long after the music ends.

Join VCHO on July 3rd for the official BAD DECISIONS Album Release Party, with support from 12TEN and ceeevs.

WIN BIG!! Bass Coast Music & Arts Festival has long been one of VCHO's favourite events. To celebrate, purchase your ticket before June 20th, and you'll be entered to win two Bass Coast Music & Arts Festival passes and original VCHO Clothing.

Loose Fit

From the duo that brought you INDIE SLEAZE NIGHT at 9910, comes our new project: LOOSE FIT.

LOOSE FIT is a series aimed at broadening the music played at Edmonton clubs. We are here to loosen things up, keep it easy, breezy, and with a wide legged baggy fit. You will hear not just Indie Sleaze, but a wide range of dance and indie music from the 80s to the 2020s that will loosen up your muscles, and get your body movin and groovin.

For our inaugural show, we are beyond excited to have JEX OPOLIS play. Ever since our first time seeing him, JEX OPOLIS has been one of our absolute favourite DJs, capturing our hearts with a sound rooted in 90s progressive house and trance, and yet still oh so contemporary.

This ethos of mixing the past and the present, making yesterday's sounds fit into today, is at the core of LOOSE FIT. Please come check us out and see what we are all about, Friday, June 12 at 9910

Battle for Jarred

Battle for Jarred

Bandmates. Hard to find, harder to keep. Susan Issac, 0Stella and Loud In The Pines battle it out to win Jarred's favour on 21st May @ 9910

Susan Isaac is a Manitoba-born folk singer/songwriter making music in Edmonton. A powerhouse vocalist and multi-instrumentaIist, Susan crafts enduring songs reflecting on themes of land, loss, home, belonging, and parenthood. While solidly situated in the folk genre characterized by her fingerstyle guitar and signature storytelling, Susan’s slow-cooked lyrics and melodies also display pop sensibilities and country leanings, with the occasional classic rock chorus thrown in for good measure!

0Stella is an Alt-Rock Irish Fusion force where gritty rock blends with Irish fiddle, bodhrán, and rebellious pop melodies; the point where sound, sustainability, and connection meet. Based in Edmonton, Alberta and inspired by PJ Harvey’s song, 'Oh, Stella,' the zero in her name celebrates the power of opposites coming together. With a deep connection to the natural world and 8,500 km of cycle touring under her belt, 0Stella’s about making an impact, not just noise.

Loud in the Pines is the Edmonton-based, indie-folk duo of musicians Kelin Flanagan (vocals, keys, banjo) and Spencer Taubner (vocals, guitar). Through seamless vocal harmonies and layered acoustic sounds, they explore themes of heartfelt connection set in the natural world. In June 2023, Loud in the Pines released their first EP, Bitter Bright, which was recorded and mixed in their home studio. In 2024, they received a major project grant from the Edmonton Arts Council for their first full-length record, Every Colour Left. The songs were recorded at Riverdale Recorders by Scott Franchuk and produced by Ben Plotnick (The Fretless, Oliver the Crow, Atwood Quartet). The album was nominated for a 2026 Canadian Folk Music Award (Producer of the Year, Ben Plotnick). The record features stories of love, connection, growth, and acceptance in soaring full-band arrangements, and was released on May 16, 2025.
