About

For us, music is a way life, and we felt a responsibility to give Edmonton a new place where music can be discovered and appreciated. We opened the doors of 9910 to fill the void left behind by closing venues. “It’s a fully floating sound room — none of the walls or pillars touches the foundation of the building,” says Rob Clarke, one of the owners of 9910 and The Common. “So the sound doesn’t bounce around or leak out. It’s like a recording studio.”

The upcoming events booked for the new venue event space make it home to a variety of music genres. Visit on Fridays and you’ll most likely find yourself dancing to live DJs playing house, bass or techno music. We reserve many Saturday nights for live bands and have one-off events like Drag Queen Bingo, Hip Hop Karaoke or Comedy during the week.

Looking for a space to host an event? Our 126-person venue is also available for private bookings. Equipped with chic seating areas and a stage, it’s perfect for all event types, such as industry premieres, corporate gatherings, product launches, holiday receptions, and more. The space bids a number of configurations, depending on event requirements.
